The drive behind the ride: a little bit about Me. I’m Shelby 25 years old, however my soul is about 80 years old. I’m definitely an old soul and dance to the beat of my own drum, probably has to do with me being an only child.I had graduated from college and came out with question marks. No clue what to do or where to go. I was in a slump for a year, that slump eventually lead me to my roots. It was something that I had done for as long as I could remember with my mom and grandparents. It was estate sales, garage sales, thrift stores, and picking up things on the side of the road(all credit to Grandma for teaching me the side of the road). Some of my most fondest memories were of us doing that. It’s been a huge constant in life that hasn’t ever wavered with time. I realized a passion I can put into a job description. A business owner of all things antique and vintage. My plan is to travel with the Airstream and sell. Hopefully I’ll get there soon Junk Hippy along with the ultimate dream of selling at RoundTop. However I am a non-believer when it comes to gutting them and plan on keeping it as original as possible. Working towards a balance of live and sell. Having gotten this Airstream has been a huge stepping stone in my life. Before getting it and telling people my plans it seemed like it wasn’t all that realistic to them the response was ”.......oh that’s nice....” That didn’t stop me though!! Since getting the Airstream there has been a shift. I’ve had so much more better feedback off it. It makes me that much more excited to get this started to get the business started along side it. I am very much new to whole Airstream world and how campers even work in general, but I am so excited to take this journey and for y’all to join me in it too!!
